On today’s video, we run through 10 of the most controversial club owners in football right now. From the Glazers at Manchester United, who have overseen a period of underachievement and baffling transfer business at the Premier League giants since the retirement of Sir Alex Ferguson, qualifying for the Champions League just once, to Mike Ashley, who has become a notorious figure in English football since taking over Newcastle back in 2007, these owners have all gained a reputation for one reason or another.

Also on our list is Napoli head honcho Aurelio De Laurentiis, who was once compared to Donald Trump by Spanish publication AS; the City Group, who following the acquisition of Manchester City in 2008 have gone on a mission for world domination; and Red Bull, who like City are building a global football empire. We also look at controversial Valencia owner Peter Lim, and Steve Dale, who is somehow still the owner of Bury FC.
