Today we’re running through a team of players who don’t have the recognition they deserve from their country. From Barcelona keeper Ter Stegen, whose multiple La Liga titles and Champions League pedigree haven’t been enough for him to become Germany’s number one, to Aymeric Laporte, who despite being instrumental in Manchester City’s Premier League success, is still waiting for his first France cap, there are some world class footballers in this side.

We also look back to Michael Carrick, whose massive success with Manchester United didn’t translate to substantial caps for England, and David Ginola, who missed out on glory with France at the World Cup and Euros while winning individual accolades for his performances in the Premier League with Tottenham and Newcastle United.
